I got my new hydra chip installed today, I have to say i couldnt be happier. the programming was very easy, and the install took 5 minutes. And it feels like a different truck I am very happy to finally have some tunes on my truck!

My Hydra came in the mail yesterday. As soon as my new Stage 1's come, I'll be ready to go.

I was hoping to hear some good reviews on this looks like a grate setup! I don't have the cash to do all the uprades to my truck at one time, I like the fact that I can try out all the "for stock" tunes and as I upgrade I can add custom tunes without having to send in the chip! I hope to ordering soon!

I mounded it near the headlight switch, I figured since I had a manual I needed my right hand free. I cant believe how different the truck feels! I will post pics if I get time :-)

Cody, I was just on their web site and if I'm reading it right do you get to choose 17 different tunes to put on the chip for $425. Or do each tune cost kinda like DP-Tuner.

Bill, customers with stock trucks or lightly modded trucks have access to all of our standard calibrations for their trucks. The tunes are INCLUDED in the price. For customers with injectors or other large mods, custom tunes are $25 each.

I'm a little confused.... So with this chip you get all 17 programs? And as for stock, and does that just imply intake and exhaust? What about a truck with a valve body or shift kit?

Here is the info from the web site and it looks like some valve bodies are ok and the Trans-go tugger shift kit.

Modified Injectors

Alternate fuels (veggie oil, waste oil, trans fluid)

Engine mods such as camshafts, compression changes, cylinder head modifications

Modified large single or twin turbos

Aggressive high pressure oil systems (Gen-2, Pulse, twin pump, etc.) EXCEPT for Adrenaline, SRP, and Terminator T-500

Power Adders (Nitrous, Water/Meth, Propane)

All Modified Transmissions except for BTS Valve Body, John Wood Valve Body, or Trans-Go Tugger Kit
