SCT TSX should I buy

I have a chance to buy an SCT TSX for $400 or less (I may be able to get him down some). I know there are not a lot of people using these on 7.3s but I do like that it can be used as a code scaner as well as the other monitering features it has. Plus I can get custom tunes if need be. I do have guages for Boost,EGT and Trans but I could display other guages on the SCT.
Thoughts?

Down to $300 is it worth it or am I better off going with a TW chip that i was planing to go with before.

You can get most of the tuners that tune ts chips to send you tunes for a sct. make sure it has the software and the computer connections. If it will work on a 7.3 it would be nice. I'd highly recommend getting custom tunes for it tho.
