Looking for new injectors
My truck has 210,xxx miles and i think my injectors or at least a few of them are going bad. on a buzz test 2 of the injectors sound muffled and the truck wont start if it has been sitting for a decent amount of time unless i turn my ts up to high performance.
so im going to replace the injectors but im not sure whether i should just buy stock with my mileage ( i would hate to blow a head gasket or damage rings) or if some type of stage 1s are still safe to tow with. I have been looking at swamps stage 1s 175/146. are these good and it seems like single shot injectors may be more efficient but then i have to have my chip retuned. are split shot 175/146 worth the money? Im looking to keep my truck reliable, i dont need 400 rwhp i just want reliability with a little extra power. thank you |

Personally, I really like the way Stage One singles run in these trucks, but like you said, it will require some new tuning as well.

We have stock injectors in stock! if you figure out if you want stock or aftermarket let me know. Our prices are 30$ off everythin

so if you run singles in the truck and for whatever reason the chip stops working or you need it on stock etc etc, the truck is basically useless until a singles burned chip is controlling the truck?

Yep...plus stage 1's will kill your stock turbo and could be enough to do the same to a old trans...
We can get you either stage 1's with the mods that should be added or stock remains from Full Force. |

We can also tune your PCM for single shots if this is a concern for you. That way, even without the chip, the truck would still run properly with the new injectors.
