Towing Injectors

What do you guys think the biggest or best injector is for towing? I am gonna build the motor with duall pumps, either a D66 or convert everything to run a TN BB, and hopefully a regulated fuel return.

I tow 16-18,000#'s regularly with the mods in sig. except I will be switching to a AFE stg. II.

*SOLD* early 99 cc drw 2wd auto, PMT2 pcm with PHP tunes, exhaust w/ 6" tip, MSP intake, AD's, late 99 conversion, gauges, Terminator modded 17* HPOP, and some other pointless stuff like the zoodad, 6.0IC, etc etc....

499K original miles when sold...

stage 2 single shots with the D66. If I were to upgrade more than a D66 I would go with a modified H2E turbo and hybrid injectors. Forget the TN. It limits you to stock turbo replacements, the h2e mounting kit has many turbo combo options.

There are a lot of good places to get injectors. I prefer dynomite diesel. They are all new and them modified with new parts with a 3 year unlimited miles warranty. Eliete diesel has a 2 year unlimited miles warranty. The rest have warranties but not as good. I figure that if it is warrantied then it must bo good and DDP injectors are the most recommended injectors I found when I was looking. Quite a few vendors get their injectors from DDP as well.

I agree, but would add do it once and go to hybrid injectors and detune them for the HP you want... Should have mine back late this week first of next week, we can go for a drive...

I really dont care all that much what kinda HP I have but I do want a good increase with LOW EGT's so that I can pull the heaviest of loads all day long and not have to worry about egt's.

I had somebody suggest going with B-Codes and then putting a GT42R in there????? I love the idea but jeeeeeezzz, that is 8K right there! I was hoping to do the whole thing for 8-10K!

Nope... and from the sounds of it I will not be getting one...

Your going to need a Sperco or similar IC to run that much fuel and still keep the EGT's in check... I would just go for a set of hybrids, and a TN BB or H2e.

Any idea what the cc's are on most Hybrids? I found some on the other forum that are stage III 230cc(IIRC) for a GOOD price but I dont believe they are Hybrids. Course I guess if I did big oil, it wouldnt really matter.

Any Stage 3 injector is going to be a hybrid type... 230cc is about the norm...

well that really sucks about the turbo! Didnt I hear the garrett BB was having surging problems? I am trying to stay clear of the garrett if I can help it.

Oh wow I didnt realize that any stg. III was a Hybrid. Hmmmm

Yeah and I didnt figure a 6.0 cooler was gonna be enough to keep everthing cool.

The Garrett is a surging POS... Its livable with the 1.15 housing on it, but it still leaks oil past the compressor O rings...

I was looking around and I think I am gonna order the TN trq. master kit that has the turbo and intercooler. well when the money comes in that is!
