Turbo Choices and Injector question?

I know theres lots of different brands and different size turbos out there but I cant decide what is "The Best". What is the most common choice that everyone picks for an aftermarket turbo?

I found a site that sells reman stage 3 injectors for about $1600. how well do thes work/last? Im thinking they would be fine concidering there just rebuilt..

It depends on what your needs/goals are. What do you plan on doing with the truck? What kind of horsepower would you like to acheive?

Answer these questions first, then it will be easier to narrow down what the "best" for you will be.

The best turbo for me won't be the best turbo for you. What are your goals, what will the truck be used for, how big will you go?

Don't look at hp or stages of injectors. Go by CC/nozzle size. Stage and hp ratings mean absolutely nothing.

That's just what the Previous owner told me so whatever just need the stock. With bigger injectors and bigger turbo it smokes way too much for my wife to drive.

With a bigger turbo it shouldn't for the most part. All in the tune.

Whats your HP goal?

What do you use your truck for?

Whats your budget?

Need to find out what injectors you have... I doubt they are "80hp" injectors or anything of the sort. Do you run a chip with your X?

Exactly. Try to get people to understand that.

Best all around fun set up...

160/100 single shot injector
38R turbo...

All the little stuff like gauges, intake and exhaust.

that will get you a 350-380hp truck that is fun as hell to drive, but will not be broke down every weekend.

^ he said it all. My truck is insanely fun but I have to worry about breaking every time I lay into it. 160/100s and a 38r would be a hell of a fun set up and you don't have the worries.

are single shots better then split shots if your going to spend the money on new injectors?
how do 175/146 compare to the 160/100s?
