i finally ordered my custom tunes from beans!! i can not wait til it gets here. finally getting rid of my edge cs pos and getting some real tunes! about time! just thought id share my excitement with yall.

will do man, arent you running beans? ive been reading and reading and reading on here about a ton of stuff im planning on doing and i know ive seen you post up some stuff about beans tunes for the 7.3's which helped me decided on them for my tunes.

i cant wait to get the tunes in. ive read up on what and how im supposed to install the chip, but any advice from anyone on the easiest way or and tips?

Its fairly easy, just make sure the pins are clean but not TOO clean that you remove the solder from them.

What tunes are you guys running? Im thinking about updating to Beans also. i have an outdated hypertech stage 3, nothing wrong with it I just want more power.

Anyone know the best way to contact beans? I have been trying all day and yesterday and ive emailed a few times.

Go thru a dealer, not Beans themselves. They get very busy over there, as they do a million other things at their shops. I ordered thru a dealer, Whites Diesel Performance, and he's so well versed in Beans tunes that he can answer 99% of my questions to him and he answers his phone right away (or his secretary).

I made the mistake of going through beans but everything is fine. I got an email yesterday morning from beans and they let me know that it takes 5-7 days to get tunes ready for my truck done then it will be over nighted. The only question i really have is regarding the transmission. I have an 01 f250 auto but i didnt have time to look at my trans tosee what trans it is specificly. Is that a hig problem?

As long as you told them a stock auto it wil be fine. I love my beans tunes, I use the daily driver tune 99% of the time,high idle is awesome for winter time,and the race tune when Im feeling gitty.
