Single shots will work much better than split shots without big oil. The diy- stage 2b is a split shot nozzle upgrade, you would be better off with a single shot conversion kit likt the diy- stage 2c kit. I just ordered mine!

Go with a Hybrid injector, stage 2's IMHO are a waste... and I bought them too...

I really like the single shot ones I got from Swamps diesel performance for like $1500 for 8. But I haven’t tried anything else other than stock and I just bought them as economic replacements for my worn out stock ones with a little more power.

You will be able to run the 2B injectors just fine with your stock oil. If you go to the Stage 2 single shots or Stage 3 Hybrids they will also run fine with your stock oil but you will need to have custom programming to run them in your truck.

94 to 97 psds come from the factory with single shots. why would you have to get new programs to get them to run?

Not all 96-97 has single shots. They made California emission trucks that had split shot injectors.

I'll be building my single shots some time within the next few weeks, I'll be sure to post on how they perform. 160cc with larger nozzles. I'm excited to see how it goes.
