Shock Boots!!

Well I received my leveling kit the other day and much to my surprise it didn't come with shock boots. I guess I just skipped the whole addition of shock boots to the order. Anyway I went to advance auto to see if they had any boots and they had a 12-1/2" boot for a rancho shock absorber. Now do you think I can get by with these boots or will they not fit. I dont see any reason they shouldnt J/W Thanks

p.s. My kits the 2.5" by rough country with i believe the 8000 series shocks

shock boots suck. they will rust the crap outta your shocks. they hold water in the boot..ur better off leavin it w/o them IMO

Yeah those boots kill your shocks. Just ask Stroker X. He posted pics recently of his shocks and they looked horrible from rust.

i jus took mine off and had mad rust...good thing i got the cheap shocks from superlift

wow I thought that shock boots did the total opposite but I guess it makes sense thank guys
