Mileage

How many people have chips/programmers on their truck with over 200K I want one so bad but im just scared that I will be to hard on my truck which just hit 252 today. I like driving dont wanna walk.

Actually at 252 I would be more afraid of the trans going out then engine problems.

Yea but then again if I get a programmer ill be pouring the coal to it and maybe the tranny will go. I reken ill just fix the outside up I dunno

why is it that when vere theres a diesel with hundreds of thousands of miles on it some one always says its just gettin broke in how long does it take to break in a diesel motor i know on a gas its takes a couple thousand maybe a dumb question

Mine has 265K on it and nothin has gone wrong, i put it on around 260K, so you should be good, as for milage I used to go a week on a tank, now I go a week and a half to 2 weeks. Put one on it helps alot!!!

Mine has 235K, has had a chip in it for the entire time, and it's been run really hard. I'm not worried about the motor at all. everything else will probably break around it before the motor goes.

i don't have 200k or anything close. I'm at 82k with an edge evolution and i got 16.7 towing my boat with my 4wheeler in the back on a trip a couple of weeks ago. Thats not to bad considering i was getting 14.5 to 15 doing the exact same stuff.

you are definately correct, other things like the trans will go before the engine does

My trucks got 450K on it and it has had some sort of chip on it since 50K.
