Wan premium hubs suck!!!
Left me stranded 3 times now!! The back ring on the whole assembly keeps popping off some how I don't know and they are always on free spin!leaves me stranded every time I need them !!! Not pleases or impressed at all!!! Bad bad luck or something!! Maybe stealth will warranty them for a new pair of hubs or something....

Warn is usually a really good lockout. You might look into Dynatrac. Much more expensive but they default to the locked position if they fail.

i may be wrong but i think warn has lifetime warranty on those

When did you install them? I had the same exact problem when i did mine and it was becasue I misread the instructions.
Did you remove anything other than the factory hub piece itself? There are a couple washers and a snap ring behind there that need to stay there. If thats not the problem, there is a little needle bearing assembly that supports that little stub of axle. If it is worn out it can cause the same issues. |

Yeah I left all that in there... The stub axle is brand new the bearing that supports it could be warn I just don't see how that ring can come out.. I need to find a large snap ring for it that is stronger I think that will fix the problem idk it is making me angry though cause they are suppose to be good!

Thats too bad man. Is it both sides or one side more than the other? In my case it was the passenger side only that kept getting buggered up.
If you want to rule out that it is an issue with the truck, swich the hubs right to left and see if it takes itself appart on that side. In my case it was caused by a combination of sloppy axle u-joint, bad bearings which left the axle stub wobbling around and messin up my hub. But even after getting messed up countless times, once i fixed the trucks problems I never had an issue again. That was 4 years ago. Good Luck |

yeah i guess i can try switching sides but.... you think the old pos ford auto locking hubs would have done this countless of times also..... but they just busted the internals out..... idk i guess i can try the dynatracs but they are so much more money.....
