What is a good chip?

I'm looking to chip my 99 f350 and want a good chip that gives me more pulling power and better fuel economy if possible, not looking for high performance. I was looking at superchips and hypertech, any suggesions?

if you want a chip you can go with a custom tuned chip from DP... if you want a programmer i would go with the edge Evo 2 with the built in digital gauges..... you will need gauges first before you buy any chip.... Boost, EGT, Trans is what you will want......

A good chip will control the transmission better than any tuner out there. The trans tuning helps the trans handle the additional power for better trans life.

I removed my Superchips tuner this week and installed a DP chip. Awesome chip!! The 40 hp setting runs about the same as the Superchips top setting. Smooth power. Call them and you will be happy.

Make sure the contact are clean on the PCM. That is usually the problem when stuff runs weird.

Or are you stacking the chip with another power enhancer?
