SCT good or bad or is there better!

Hey guys was wondering what you think about a sct flash Device! I have a buddy that can get me a good deal on this one SCT Flash Devices - MORE Power . . . Period!

What do you think about them? Is there a better one to get?

not 100% sure on the 7.3s but its the only way to go for the 6.0, i think a flip chip is the norm for the 7.3s

but somebody else should be chiming in soon

Thats what I was heard also was wondering if anyone has one on a early 99 and if they will work or not?

The SCT will work fine for a programer, and you can get tunes for them from other vendors, Elite Diesel, DP tuner... But really a shift on the fly chip is the way to go.

WORD!!! If you really want something for your 7.3L...get a good flip chip. You can even get custom programming on them for a little more $$$.

Get a chip, not a downloader. They can do so much more than the downloaders can. Plus if you start playing with stuff like change injectors to single shots the chip can be easily changed by sending it back and having it reburned. Only a couple of guys can modify the downloader programs.

I only have experience with Tony Wildman and DP tuner. They are both great to work with.

Where is the best place to buy a DP tuner? what other stuff Should I get I have trans,pyro and boost gauges and I'm doing the DIY air intake. was thinking on exhaust, a guy told me to just run straight pipe is this a good idea or not?
