GTP38R????

Hi i'm interested in installing a Garrett PowerMax GTP38R on my late99.5 powerstroke. My queston is if i will also have to install a NON-EBP pedistal with this turbo upgrade?

no you can swap the turbo right out with your stock one and leave everything else alone.

however, I would suggest deleting the EBPV and using a delete pedistal since you will be right there already and if you spend ~$1400 on a turbo, another $200-250 on a delete pedistal and outlet seems like not much more in my opinion

I would say yes your banks stuff would swap over. If it works with your stock turbo the. It will transfer over to a 38r. The 38r is a complete bolt in swap over turbo to the stock unit
