I have 5 inch MBRP and i had some problems with the down pipe rubbing the firewall I called MBRP about it and they said its a common problem with 6 speed powerstrokes so might want to go with the dimond eye. Other than that the exhaust sounds good and fits good

Mine is a diamond eye, no problem with the firewall, but it does rest on the transmission a bit. It's been on there for 100k+, no issues besides the rubbing a bit. It hasn't caused any damage where it's touching the transmission either.
I've installed dozens of each exhaust at work with mixed results. The mbrp fits better most of the time, with a bit of marking and clearancing on the downpipe you can eliminate all of the clearance issues on both systems against the transmission and firewall. |

Farmboy diesel also has a good 5" kit.

farm boy diesel isn't around anymore.. but that would have been my choice. Diamond eye or mbrp are great too.

I got a cheapo Summit brand 5". It went together perfectly fine. Only issue was it was missing 1 clamp.

The Diamond Eye kits fit OK, not the best but there a great kit. For very easy install Id stick with the MBRP kit!

Go to Rollin Smoke Diesel. I got my 5" straight pipe from there. I only paid 275. No taxes and free shipping. It comes with a 2 piece down pipe and it makes it sooo easy to install. Its the cheapest price I found and with the 2 piece down pipe it was a total winner. Go check em out. Rollin' Smoke Diesel - Diesel Perfomance Parts

My 5" DE exhaust had a two piece down pipe as well. Mine when together great. It does rattle a little on the shackle bolt though. Sounds great even ended up with extra parts.
I would suggest getting band clamps though. They are much better than the ubolt style that crushes the pipe making it impossible to adjust after you crank down on them. |

I just went and checked Rollin Smoke and it looks like they don't carry the 5" anymore. Sorry about that. But anything with a 2 piece down pipe is the way to go. makes everything soo much easier
