Installed my BTS valve body

And WOW. Hard to believe what a difference it made! Shifts great, not hard but nice shifts! I would recommend one to anyone that hasn't installed it yet!

Waiting for fluid to drain, screwing off and everything about 2 hours. If I would have been on it hard, pretty sure and hour would do it. I did use cordless impacts that speed it up some

I've been contemplating doing this, but fear it may be a waste of money on a stock 130k mile transmission. When my transmission down shifts, it slips about 100 rpm with anything over 1/4 throttle. Unless this is some PCM strategy for softening shifts, I have a feeling my clutch packs are on their way out. I'm really not that familiar with automatics, having had manuals all my life. What were shifts like for you before the install? How many miles do you have on your transmission?

I think it was like 230-245 range. Plus the core charge of 250 which you get back when you send it back within 21 days.

These trannies feel like their slipping due to the way they actuate the tc in them.

If anything, adding a VB to your stock tranny will make it last longer than not having one. Putting in a beefed up TC will help it last also.
