Banks system install...can I install.....
2000 Excursion got the whole banks system installed gave it a few more horsepower..not bad. Question is...can I also install an hypertech programmer as well? If not for the power upgrade just to enter my tire size upgrade to get my speedo right and maybe firm up my trans? DIdnt know if anyone had tried it or know if I could. Just a question..I know alot about gas..learning about diesel. Thanks

If I were you I would take it all off but the gauges, exhaust, and downpipe. Sell it and get yourself a custom tuned chip, an AFE II intake, a a valve body. Banks is over priced. You could've gotten better products for half the price of the banks. Sorry to burst your bubble, but if you're happy now good. Just don't go for a ride equipped with a custom chip.

The banks gauges are junk too... But to answer your question you can not stack the programer with the Banks chip... A chip always overrides whats on the PCM.

I must have wrote that wrong...I like the power it throws out...its a freaking 9k suv...I dont really care to go 12 seconds in the 1/4 with it. I was just trying to see if I could use the hypertech programmer to adjust the tire size and speedo but now I see its not gonna work. Thanks all.
