Any issues with PHP?
Has anyone had any problems with high exhaust temps or anything with a phoenix php chip? I just ordered mine and I wanted to know if there was anything I should watch out for.

When you put the hammer down you're going to experience high EGTs regardless, the chips just going to get you there quicker!
![]() In the 120 Race setting, my EGTs climb to 1000-1100 pretty quick. It takes them awhile to get over that 1200 degree mark, and when they do, they don't climb as fast. No issues though, that's for sure! |

I'll be driving from CO to ND today which is about 650 miles. I just got my gryphon hooked up yesterday drove around but no highway temps. I will be posting some info later on this week with full details about egt's, mpg and such.

My egt issues went away when I got PHP tunes. Bigger injectors get it heated up quick though.

No excessive EGT's with the Phoenix in my truck. Sure I can make them climb over 1200deg, but not unless I'm really pushing it with a heavy load, or drag racing.

If you got any hot tune from them you will be able to get the temps hot but that's with any performance chip, bills tunes have been pretty cool running compared to others I have seen tho ... Do you have gauges? If not those would be high on the priority list

I personally run autometer gauges and love them, they offer a factory match style to match your factory gauges. Give me a call at Alligator if you have any questions I can try and answer for you!

I think Autometer and isspro are your best bets. Best prices can be found through searches. I think diprocal<<<not sure on spelling, make good guages as well.
There are so many different guages to choose from. You relly need to go to the manufacturer sites to see what you like best; then hunt for the best pricing |
