Gt38r is it upgradable?

I'm currently running 230 hybrids with the 38th, cdma intake, stock ****ty uppipes, meth, stock intercooler, Ts chip with tunes from swamps, air dog 2 kit, hiflo ebpv delete, ect on a blackwater 7.3 with ss valves comp springs, mahle pistons,

I'm wondering if I can upgrade the 38r in anyway

I'm yet to install the turbo ebpv outlet, the boost fool mod, and the bd blow off valve kit. Also the ccv kit from riffraff

Or any suggestions on how I can get more power from my setup

Thankyou all in advance

6.0 Intercooler, and a T4 or T6 style turbo. But for a direct bolt on turbo the 38R from what I have found in my searches is the best direct bolt on you can find.

But you can contact places like pureturbos.com from Oceanside California or comp turbos out of San Dimas California and see what they say.

Don't bother with the 6.0 ic, no real difference. There is a different wheel for the 38r but I haven't heard of any ganes with it.

There is a different housing for the 38R but it won't really do much.

Bulls Eye Turbo made one of their "Bat Mo-Wheels" for the 38R but it ended up not making any difference (other than the weight of your wallet) "Wild Bill" of Bullseye refunded everyone that purchased one of his wheels to my knowledge and is trying to get a 38R to test a new wheel design, but has yet to come out with a new BatMo for the 38R.

Seems like borg turbos aren't huge in the powerstroke crowd, but the cummins guys love them. Bullseye modifies Borg turbos and makes some really nice units. I have one of their Comp R turbos in my Camaro SS and it makes some serious steam for its size

I second the comment about not getting the 6.0 intercooler; you'll just be wasting money. Bigger turbo using t4 style mount is the way to go.
