taking the flutter out.....

I was talking to a guy who is getting ready to open an exhaust shop here in town and Im considering having him twist me up some 4in. Anyhow... the guy told me that there is a set of baffles that folks are putting in the straight pipes on these 7.3s to take the flutter out of them... Any one on here ever heard of this?

He claims it doesn't effect flow or performance.

Flutter? What flutter? Turbo flutter? no exhaust baffle is going to take that out. HIDE IT, maybe. But not remove it. And anything that adjusts sound, also adjusts performance. More restrictions to the motor, less power and mpg.
