Single Straight or Dual Exhaust
I've got a late 99 7.3 F250 4x4.
When I bought it, it had 4in straight piped single exhaust with 5in tip. It sounds really really cool, but I'm really wanting to go 4in duals straight piped, straight out the back of the truck with either 5in or 6in tips. Am I sacrificing any sound by doing this? Also will it increase MPG and HP? Thanks! |

Lol you're probably right though! Thanks for the insight! I'd hate for my truck to go from a beast to a toy truck! Haha!

Duals out the sides would look cool. I would try to find a kit that's 5" duals with 6" tips that come off both sides. It probably won't increase any more hp or mpg and sounds will probably be about the same but it will look cool when your spitting smoke out both sides!!

You will most likely not gain anything from duals but I like the sound. Sometimes I wish I went duals

I dont know if they make 5in duals due to lack of space with the spare tire. If you want 5in duals you will have to remove the spare tire and make it yourself or go to a exhaust shop. Would look badass thoughbut seems like alot of work. I would 4in duals with 6in tips.
