You 6-position that plugs direct into the PCM will override whatever has been written into the PCM (your triple dog), so you'll only be getting the performance from the 6-position chip. 'Stacking' those style tuners/chips on the 7.3L will not work.
Tune goes on the ECM, chip over rides the ECM...ECM wins. CR engines like the 5.9 Cummins or the 6.6 Dmax can stack tuner and boxes but not so much on with the HEUI systems.
Bully dog, Edge, Banks they are all one size/tune fits most type tuners.
