Trouble with HPOP pressure
Hoping for some input here, my trucks an 02' I keep it maintained mods are listed below. I put a modis scanner on it the other day and got on the highway, floored it in 3rd gear (auto) icp was reading 2790psi or so from 45mph to 75, on stock tune. Did this 3 times to verify it was pretty consistant. Clicked up to my "race" 140hp tune it barely held 1900psi.
What Im looking for is how much more oil do I need to maintain the corredt pressure in hotter than stock tunes (28-3000?) the truck need the trans rebuilt badly its original and Im not ready to dump alot into big oil and build the trans but id like to remidy this problem. Whats the best solution here? Ported wicked wheel stock turbo ebpv delete 4" open exhaust Intake Rosewood diesel 80% over injectors Swamps tunes 247,000 on it Thanks much for any info |

if those are split shots with 80% nozzles then they are oil hungry. did you check duty cycle

Yes they are ab/ad splits, I don't recall what injector duty cycle was or if it was even available in the data stream on that scanner

why anyone would get nozzles on a set of splits is beyond me.

Im sorry you feel that way, Rosewood Diesel Shop I have his Budget Stage-2/s: my truck really needed injectors I asked Rosewood when he was rebuilding them about upgrading a bit this is what he recommended so that's what I got.
Im still looking for input on how much of a bigger oil pump I need for what's done to the truck. |

so you skimped on injectors and now need a 1000 dollar hpop, sell those injectos and get some ac's

If that's the case that sucks, didn't know any better when I bought em. Single shots really use that much less oil over splits? Sorry haven't heard the term what are ac's? Thanks

Assuming its in good condition a stock hpop will support 160cc singles? Or will I still need more oil when im in the hotter tunes on the chip

yeah a stock hpop will support ac's better than ad's
