4" MBRP EXHAUST ... turbo or cat back?

im looking into getting a MBRP 4" turbo back black powdercoat exhaust.. but i dont know if i should get turbo back or cat back. what i really want is more horsepower, but on the other hand i dont want to lose any gas mileage.

any input please?

alright i didnt know then, because i thought all trucks came stock with cats.

and how much of a difference would it make with the horsepower? like would it be a noticable difference from what i have now, stock 3.5" exhaust but i took out the muffler and put a straight pipe on it

I honestly do not think you will feel any difference but you may see slightly lower egts. I ran my old 99.5 with just a TS chip and was just fine. I really do not think you need to upgrade exhaust unless you want the cooler sound or plan on a good amount of HP. My 99.5 never had egt issues with stock exhaust and turbo. This includes towing through the rocky mountains.
