Then your set. Let us know what you think. Make sure you really clean the connector on the PCM. Just be careful not to remove the tinning on the contacts.
A brass brush, toothpicks and green(brown) pad should be all you need. I had copper showing on the contacts but still worked fine, but I decided to retin the contacts myself to be safe. The tinning helps protect from corrosion from any moisture. I am sure the chip will put a huge smile on your face. You will have a perma-grin every time you drive it till you decide to get your mileage back |

yeah i hoping to get 2 to 4 mpg added with the dd tune but i know what yo mean about loosing mpgs when i first get it. is it hard to install

It's a breeze to install, just have to take your time cleaning the connector on the PCM. I imagine beans will send you instructions; if not they are easy to find.
After doing it, you can access or swap the chip in less than 15 minutes. I recently cut out the plastic on the PCM cover; so now it just takes a second to pull the chip. |

where is the pcm.. driver side by the emergency brake ?

Yes. It's inside that black plastic cover. If you look inside the engine compartment on the firewall; you will see a big connector connected to it. The connector takes a 10mm socket. The screws for the PCM cover are 7mm.
