Swamps 7.3 crate motor

Does anybody have any information on these, has anybody ever used one? Like to know what I could expect if I was to buy it the engine is $7,921. Any help would be great thanks.

Anything swamps touches is quality, idk what the specs are on their engine though

thats too steep for me for a long block, di has a short block for like 3500 that is nice or you have have machine work done locally

I think your missing what all is included. Comp springs, b-11 head studs, completely gone thru heads... its a great price for a fully balanced motor.

DI's short block is just that. a short block.

yeah but for 4400 more dollars, the di short block is fully balanced, heads aint worth 4400, maybe if they were ported and polished. i like swamps and i think they do awesome work i mean i used to live down the street but that is steep.

DI doesn't build that block or I might be more included to agree... south Houston engine does... I would not run one of there motors again.
