Glowshift gauges on ebay
Does anyone have any experience with these gauges?
TAN 99-07 FORD POWERSTROKE POD + WHITE DIESEL GAUGE KIT | eBay Seems like a good deal, $209 plus free shipping for pillar pod and 3 gauges, 1 yr warranty and all parts needed. Just trying to find out if these are a trustworthy brand or not, thanks. |

Mine are fine, you can wire it up to dim the lights when you turn your headlights on, but they stay lite all the time, occasionally my boost gauge hangs up at 5 psi when there's no boost, tap it then it falls to 0

Basically, tap the dimmer wire on the dimmer potentiometer. |

I believe it was the orange wire, tap into the headlight switch, when 12v is sent to the orange wire it dims it 50%. I'll have to look at my instructions again to know for sure which wire, but one wire is for that. So when you turn the headlights on it cuts the light 50% so they aren't popping out at you for night driving, but lite 100% during the day

So I think you tap into the switched 12 v source for the gauges and splice that into the dimmer wire. And still leave the wire connected to the switched 12v

The 12V is to run the motors.
The light wire gets tapped into the dimmer which feeds Dc voltage off a potentiometer, which varies voltage=varies brightness |

If I remember right there is no illumataion wire on mine. A constant to remember the color and a switched to turn the motors and lights on
