tranny question

I would really like to put a set of stage 2's and a 38r in my truck but I know my tranny won't handle it. I have an aem brute force intake, 5 inch exhaust and TS chip that have been in it for about 30,000 miles. The tranny doesn't slip at all even on the extreme setting just shifts hard into 2nd and third. So my question is what could I have done to the trans so that it can handle the extra power? I would love to get a BTS but I'm on a budget and can't really fork out $5500 for a trans. Thanks, Alex

You could do a bts valve body, 6.0 cooler, ari converter and flush with good fluid like schaeffers all trans but its still a chess match. Tunin sounds like an issue as well

What about a torque converter with a stock tranny? Should that be able to hold about 450hp?

Ok thanks guys. Also what stage two injector would u recommend that a new TC, vibrate, and 6.0 cooler could handle? I'm not lookin for a ton of power 400-450 probably. I was looking at some 200/80% ones and also the rosewood stage two budget injectors. I also don't want to have to do the hpop for atleast another year or two. And recommendations?
