late 99 injector options?????

buddy of mine has a late 99 f350 cclb ford, recently installed a 38r turbo because the truck was using massive amounts of oil- fixed the burning oil, but now the truck is hard starting, smoking among start up until the truck is driven, dying randomly and missing under a load- we buzz tested the injectors and for what i have read on here 2 of the injectors were way quieter than the others suggesting Injector problems??

what im asking is if im wrong here in my thinking??

and ALSO if it needs injectors what are the best injectors to buy for a daily driver with the 38r turbo- dosent always pull but does pull a 38' fifth wheel on occasion-

slap in some 160's from full force or unlimited and get tuned accordingly and call it a day

Like custom sct tunes?

There are tuners that can put tunes on a sct but most prefer the ts 6 position chip
