I need some info on tuners, which one for me?

hello all, i have a 1999 ps 7.3 and i want a good tuner for it, i tow boats and some heavy loads, but i also want more hp and more peppyness when i step on the pedal, BUT i also want some nice THICK BLACK SMOKE. Now which brand tuner has the smoke one , and more hp. Does the tuner only make it smoke when i punch the pedal? Will it smoke with the stock exhuast? which guages do i need. Im new to diesel and only a 16 yr. old kid, but im in the vocational program so i do know how to wrench on them.
so basically i want smoke, i want power. which tuner is best for me?

for the 7.3 - either Tony Wildman (www.totaldieselperformance.com) or DP Tuners

and guages you can do analog or digital

you need exhaust gas temps, trans temp, and boost psi - those are analog -you can get the quadzilla commander for digital guages or anything like it

smoke is just extra fuel being burned - and you will not smoke constantly, but more when you lug the engine or floor it and pour more fuel than there is air to burn it all (until the turbo catches up)
