questions
had a couple of question on upgrages that are in the works:
1. what are the benefits of a blank turbo pedistal with a garrett38? 2. same as one but bellowed up pipes? 3. what exactly is an airdog or comprable system... reg return or aux fuel pump or combo... and if its a reg return why does it have filters for fuel that's alredy been filtered? sorry if these are dumb. still a newb thanks chris Sent from my LS670 using AutoGuide.Com Free App |

1. Non-ebp pedestal eliminates the exhaust backpressure valve. There is no real benefit except you get a little more room, do not have to worry about the ebpv leaking/sticking.
You can also get the exhaust housing that eliminates the butterfly for the ebpv which gives a touch more flow. I will be doing this to eliminate any future issues. There is also a ebpv delete mod if you want to save money. 2. Bellowed up- pipes are highly recommended. Up-pipes are a spot for exhaust leaks. Bellowed up-pipes allow for flex and have a better sealing design. Must have upgrade 3. Some delete the factory fuel bowl. Some of these kits have 2 filters, one for better fuel filtering and the other I believe is a water separator. These kits also regulate fuel and get rid of air in the fuel system making a better life for the injectors/motor. More experienced guys can give you better details |
