6637 air filter prices

Hey everyone I just joined and this my first post . I have been doing some reading on everyone's DIY intakes and would like to clear up some things for a lot of people with 6637 filters ive had the same troubles with.

Napa in Oklahoma wants $61 for the 6637. I began to search for the $30 mysterious filters locally. I Did not really want to wait for an order from online. O'Reilly's/Autozone also had nothing in stock but wanted $60ish aswell.

I have a good buddy that works at a Kenworth dealer. Stopped in there this morning and he cross-referrenced the part number for me to a Cummins and a Pete filter. Which initially is what the filter is for.

It cost me $30, had both in stock and it was 5 miles from the house.

Just trying to let everyone know that if you dont know, Try your Local BIG TRUCK PARTS STORE.

hope this helps some people.

Happy Filtering

Right. I was just trying to suggest that this filter is half the price at the a Big Truck parts store from a conventional parts store. I dont prefer waiting on things when I decide to do them.

Wix says prices are going up across the country. They send out an email once a year explains price increases.

I buy a few at a time directly from their online store.
