Anyone running afe big boost over 6637

I'm looking at intakes agian I have a 6636 now but I'm thinking of up grading. I love the s&b but I like the afe big boost. The only thing I don't like about the big boost is it Seams like it would let alot of crap in ? Anyone running a big boost

Early 99 201,000 miles. Extra spring up front leveled, 4 in turbo back to 6 in tip, 6637, glow shift gauges, dp tuner, kicker speakers, alpine head unit and amp, kicker sub, extang tonneau, bedliner bumpers grill, flares, and rockers, 33in toyo mt, 18in xd monsters, 05 Harley lights, recon tails and line of fire, 20% tint

I am also. It seems like I cant keep the thing oiled though so I am considering switching to the 6637. Im curious to see what everyone else thinks though

i have the s&b and i absolutely love it its a really clean install and the difference is unbelievable (between stock and s&b) would recommend it to anyone with 7.3 plus the housing has the tube out the front that lines up perfectly for the zoodad mod

aFe is the way to go. seems like i clean it often but intake is spotless. wyoming is the dust capital, it picks up alot.

2001 f250 4dr, 4wd, auto
garrett 38r, afe, 4", snow performance meth injection, bully dog triple gauge, 17" moto-metals w/ 305's, alpine touch screen dvd/nav...and who knows what else...

K&N has marketing behind it and brand recognition. That doesn't make K&N filters great.

So are you saying that the big boost over the 6637 is just becasue of brand recognition and marketing?
