Cold Air Intake
I've got a 2000 F-250 & I'm looking into a cold air intake. I've heard of the DIY intake, but don't want to go that way. As of right now it's got the AIS system & from what I understand, it can't be beat when looking at filtration. I also hear they're good with air flow but up to a certain level, then a cold air intake should be sought after. What about the cold air intakes though? Which ones are the ones that would provide the best air flow, which ones should I stay away from, & why? Thanks guys.

Eventually I would like to top out at about 500 or so, and right now it's close to stock. As the truck gets mods added, I plan on staying with the AIS, but as time goes on I'd like to add a cold air intake.

I went with an AFE stage 2 system, and got it for around $350 for the one that encases the battery and everything. I am very happy with the system, and would recommend getting a prefilter for it as well. Just to keep all the large stuff from getting into the filter. That makes it really easy to clean.
