Tunda Faster than Stroke?

HAHA ya right. i heard that the new tundras were super fast and mean. i was lucky enough to get one at a light in the middle of the night on saturday...we both had all the windows down and the guy looked over and laughed at us. so i reved a little to give him a taste of the smoke he was about to coat his rig. so we took off. okay, so off the line he got me by a little..then that turbo spooled up and i wasted his a$$. after he caught up at the next light he said "whoa wtf! is that like a jet motor or something?" no kidding. the guy was as serious as ever. at this point everyone in my rig was hystericaly laughing at this guy.

but anyways what is the major differences between ceramic brake pads and oem? cause i need new brakes and last time i got very poor pads that lasted like 10k miles.

I got Hawk pads and Cyro'd rotors (powerslots) they're great... they just stop quicker, don't fade from heat as much, and well... last longer and don't warp the rotors.

Good kill LOL!

I was tearing down the back end of my rig searching for a phatom noise, and found that my brake pad was sitting in wrong and it wore down 50% of my rotor, so its now hanging in the wall of our shop with a sign that says "check your brakes" so the story is get good pads.. ha

GREAT kill - those tundra guys are probably gonna call bs.. but screw them

geesh I need to do my brakes too... all it takes is money money mooooney.

I've heard you want to get ceramic pads with NEW rotors - otherwise they will chew the crap outta used rotors and you'll have to change them soon anyway
