In the long run, the IC is cheaper. You have to refill the water/meth periodically and you have to make sure your measurements of the mix is correct. I would do both....if I had the money.

6.0 intercooler for 150 bucks and then do the meth... you'll notice the biggest difference in EGT's while towing... daily driving you'll barely notice a difference w/ the I/C.

i would do the IC first only because im a strong believer that you should do everything to the engine first before adding drugs of any kind....

im lookin for away to lower my egts cuz i can very easily hit 1300 or more with my chip all the way up im fixin to put on a 4in. down pipe so ithink that will help. i thought about a 6.0 intercooler and i read all the right ups on it and it seemed like to much work abunch of adapters and cuting intercooler tubes. i dont do a lot of towing just my four wheeler. i want to start doim sled pulling and tug o war with my truck

The I/C swap isn't hard... get the correct size I/C boots and it's pretty much drop in!

I would do the intercooler first. It will lower your egt's all the time, unlike the water meth. There's really no downside to a larger intercooler other than like what you said, the initial cost. Water meth- If you have a malfunction it can hydrolock your engine, or if you get too much meth in it you can pop a headgasket. |

I cant say this enough... DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON A 6.0 IC... I saw less then a 50 degree drop empty... Get a Sperco... Then you can play with the water meth...
