Edge Programmer Question

Don't mean to be dumb, but I've looked and haven't found the answer yet - just means I haven't looked in the right place yet.

The Edge programmer, part # EEF1120, says that it will display info on engine parameters. It comes with the probe for the EGT, so that's easy to understand. How does it get the info for oil temp, transmission temp, water temp, etc?? over the OBD-II interface? I thought that was just for error code data, didn't know temp data came across that interface. Or would I need to run probes?

Oh yea, I have a 2000 F350. Thanks for the help

Thanks greatly. That's a lot easier than installing gauges and sensors.

What I'm looking for is improved MPG with and w/o my slide-in camper.

I plan on upgrading to Tymar/Donaldson, Magnaflow 4" turbo back, and EVO2. I have not talked to anyone about the 3 settings on EVO2 yet and whether they will meet my needs. Never tow anything real heavy, just the camper & my 19' boat.

thats almost exactly what i have on my truck.. im running the air-aid intake, maganflow exhaust and the Evo.... you will see a slight increase in MPG but ONLY if you can keep your foot out of it which is harder said than done...

It will more than meet your needs, you won't be able to figure out how you ever drove/towed/hauled/pulled without it!
