Check engine light.
I recently installed the Bully Dog F250-F350 02-03 AUTO 6 POSITION 4-BANK CHIP. When you put it on 125 and really get in it, the check engine light will come on for a min or two and go out. Im new to the whole diesel scene and any help will be appreciated...

yup its either overboost code or HPOP over/under desired level which are both perfectly normal...

Ok thanks for the help. Is there anyway to keep the light from coming on? What pressure does the the light come on? I currently do not have gauges. That is my next purchase.
 Will the 125 setting hurt anything? I only have the chip. Im still running stock exhaust with the muffler removed and a K&n filter. Also what is a good intake? Like i said, i am new to all of this. Been running gas burners all my life. Thanks guys...

i would get gauges u could possibly tear something up a pyro at the least but you should get boost/EGT/ and Tranny if u have an auto. and You can make a map fooler or buyone online u can make it for like 10 bucks get a air pessure gauge set it to 20 psi using a compresser and get to 1/4 barbed NPT 2 hose clamps and a t then cut the map line and tie the two ends to it with the hose clamps. You can alsoget a diode for a dollar on ebay I am not sure about how those work or you can get a plug and play for 30+

With the gauges just do standard mechanical or something like the bully dog outlook monitor? I have the bully dog 6 position chip. Is the outlook monitor compatible with the chip? What brand air intake?

as for Air intake the best is the AFE stage 2 with pro guard 7 filter... im not 100 percent sure if BD outlook will work i dont sell a lot of bully dog products but im sure their will be someone around to answer that question...if you want to go with a digital display you can get the quadzilla commander or the MSD DashHawk Display

the digital stuff is just plug and play vs the gauges being mechanical correct?
