Injector and tq questions

Hey guys I have done some research and haven't really found out much. My current mods are in my sig and currently 125k. I am looking to put some injectors and a tq in the power stroke in the next month. I am not looking for crazy power just a little more then what I got now. Its a daily driver and i do a fair amount of heavy towing. I am just wondering on what the rest of you pmr owners are running as far as injectors. Also any insight or recommendations on tq would be helpful.

you already have a valve body, don't see why you want a torque converter. i run 160/100's with pmrs

Bruce, does yours run very hot with those injectors? I just figured I could upgrade my tranny more. Maybe a 6.0 tranny cooler would be a better choice.

I don't know...Not sure of the details as far as "why" for some transmission upgrades, but my torque converter went out at about 135k miles. I say it's not a bad idea if the transmission is still in good shape, but not sure. I hate automatics and have bad luck with them, so when mine went out I took it in to Suncoast and had the whole thing redone.

i guess by hot you mean egts, naw it don't get hot, but i run and s366 with it and tunes by beans. you aint gonna run those injectors with a stock turbo for an extended period. i saw that the tc is a bad thing to upgrade with a suspect tranny because if the tranny goes and litters the tc with debris its done.

That's true, but also really applies to coolers too. Anything that can collect debris should be replaced if the trans does crap out. Some places allow a flush of the cooler, but most I've seen require replacement for warranty to be valid.

I'll have to look into some coolers. Has anyone ever ran any electric fans for there tranny?

6.0 trans cooler is the best. no fan, just gets in the way. coolers with fans are for like wheelers and stuff
