What's the ambient temp where you are. It should be around 60-80* higher than ambient temp is the rule I've always heard. Mine never gets above 145* and that's with it being pushed a little bit with my current setup.

Sold 2001 f250 ccsb 4x4 400/400, dual terminators, swamps 80mm bfh, headers, bts and all the usual supporting mods. 715hp fuel only.

I've heard 80-100 above ambient. So pretty close to what you've heard.

Anything like they said. I heard 80-100 over ambient.

I run 150* most days, and 140* on colder days. Normal temp here is 75* day in and day out. "cold" days are 60* but we do see down to 30* sometimes. Never colder than that here.

I have a recently installed HD 4R100 in my truck (about 7000 miles and installed at the end of last summer). It runs 70-75 above ambient according to my Glowshift gauge connected to the test port and about 80-95 higher than ambient according to the PCM read by a Scangauge II.
