6.0 cooler or deral from rifraff
I have my bumper off while doing this suspension deal....and adding 37's...
I think I may want to upgrade my cooler... any opinions on the riffraff: Riffraff Diesel: Derale Atomic-Cool Cooler ![]() vs the kit from beans with the 6.0: 6.0L Transmission Cooler upgrade kit - Transmission & Differential - (1999-2003) 7.3L - Power Stroke

Well the 6.0 cooler is a beast, and it bolts in stock location. Its hard to beat

I agree, 6.0.

^^^ the atomic cooler is an aux cooler, not designed to handle the whole show by itself. If you were doing a TON of very low speed (5-10 mph) with something blocking your grill it isn't a bad option...other than that the 6.0 cooler or tru-cool is a better option. If you shop around you can find a new 6.0 cooler for like 250-280. Not much more than the derale cooler.

Another option that have done some reading on would be the tru cool cooler, just a bit smaller than the 6.0 cooler and alot cheaper from what i have seen.
All reality anything is better than the stock cooler on these trucks |
