AIH Delete???

I have bought a plug to replace the aih with and even drilled and tapped it to use for the boost gauge, but what do i need to do with the wires? just cover them with heat shrink tubing and tuck em outta the way or ????
just dont want do create any problems...Rod

The red wire with the plastic wire loom just take that off with the aih and your good to go

Im wrong I just looked it up and here is the exact procedure:When removing the AIH you remove the red (hot) wire at the solenoid,
Black (ground) wire and Red wire from the AIH

I removed both - you'll just get the 0541 code which means nothing. It won't set a hard code - so no SES light.
