After reading all these kill stories, i was so excited to finally get my PHP tunes in. I have exhaust, intake and gauges already, so i thought i was set. Well, i install the programmer, and even on the 140 setting, i cant even beat the other half's Ford Edge

As far as i know, everything is good with my truck, was hitting up to 22 lbs of boost prior to the programmer, now nearing 28 lbs with the programmer.

Now i will never hear the end of it from her because ive been telling her for months that once i have the programmer, i will smoke her

That doesn't seem right. My wife's car is an edge, and while it's no slug, I'm pretty sure I could take her with my truck. The Edge won't set me back in my seat like the truck will.

I feel for you, but, remember, it's an 8,000 pound truck that while it may not beat her in a race, you will catch her when she runs out of gas, and you can drag it back sideways, all day long.

My other half has a 2007 edge and I can definitely beat it, something sounds off

The truck is an e99 350 cc lb 4wd. My egt's only get up to about 700-800 if i hold it to the floor and im not towing anything.

Hers is a 2011 Edge, and it is prettty quick, around 278 hp and the 6 speed transmission, but man im bummed.

Im guessing you have your egt probe post turbo, If so there is problem number one.

ya i had one of the e99s up to late last year. you need custom tunes to wake it up. then put stg1 injectors in. that should get you set to pass people.



or get a 6oh like i did

yea then you can pass anything but a shop.... oh and a 6.4
