cruise help
I bought a used 2000 f-250 with 267,000. My cruise doesnt work. I tried the fuse and it is good. Funny thing is my brakes lock up on snow and my abs light doesnt come on. It illuminates at start up but thats it. Maybe the two are connected. Any suggestions.
Okay something funner 4inch exhaust or 5inch. Making my wish list. Gonna put afe stage 2 intake and change the fuel spring for more feul pressure. Someday garrett 38 ball bearing turbo. Chip before turbo and new injectors. Thinking stage 1 injectors. 267,000 too many for such upgrades? |

CPS (clutch position switch) maybe. My cruise never worked and I changed the CPS and it fixed the problem.

Well that's if you have a manual lol

It is a manual. How did you diagnose that swith

Well look at the two things that turn the cruise off besides the actual off switch. That being the clutch and the brake.
Chances are its the CPS. |

will check it out. Did you just replace it or is there a way to bench test it. Other then just test light which would work I reckon

Wow thank you. Will be looking at it later. Like the idea of the clutch swith way more then the clock spring behind air bag. May need to talk to ford and see what they say about recall also. Thanks again

Lol I thought the same thing about the clock spring. But yeah do a little more investigating, and check the switch first just to be sure.
