Intercooler grill air flow

I have a 2001 Excursion lifted 8". I have been looking at this grill. But I worry about airflow on the intercooler. I live in Nebraska 2 times a year I tow my Camaro and bike to 300 miles to IL. Summers in NE are in the 90's to 110+. I also have an extra meth kit laying around I can install to help the intercooler out.
