AFE Stage 2 for performance. The tymar wont give you as much performance but it will give you better filtration.

Tymar is a bump in performance over the stock intake. Go with the AFE if you have the money and if you don't - get the tymar. You'll pay a 1/4 of the price for an intake that would only net you a couple more PSI.

If you put a Baldwin PA 2818 filter on it you will get more air flow than a PSD can use and it will be very clean air. This setup is far better than the $300 systems in my opinion and it only costs $38 and takes about 1/2 hour to put in. Take a look at the picture of it in my signature link under general pictures about 3 pages in.

Man, do you just make it up as you go??? For a stockish truck your right, but throw a turbo, injectors, and or any big power mod and your out buying another intake... Why do it twice?

I was thinking about going with AFE next time around. I replaced my Tymar about 2 weeks ago, and NAPA charged me close to 50 bucks.
