TS CHIP Install Information?

Looking at ordering the 6 position TS chip. I'm looking for maximum performance and power from my 7.3. It already has 4" straight pipe, and k&n intake and filter.

My questions are how hard is the install and what does it consist of? Recommend anything other than the TS? Any custom tunes?

Well, everyone is going to have their own opinions. I'm waiting for my chip to come in from PHP right now.

Tony Wildman does great tunes, but he is hard to get ahold of right now. Bill at PHP writes good tunes also. I've also heard some good things about gearhead tunes.

I just recently received my TW tune after running the super chips 1805. Huge difference. Last poster is right and please note that tuning is note Tony's FULL TIME job so you might be waiting a while, however, will be worth the wait.

i did the php chip,295 shipped i believe.Best mod i ever did! Just dont get stupid with the tunes,and clean the **** out of the chip port.I had to take mine apart 4 times because i didnt get all the trash off,use some good solevant and a scotchbrite pad.They say not to use carb cleaner but i did,was just real careful about it.Gasoline might work,i dunno-whatever you feel safe doing.Also clearance the back of the ecu holder case because the chip sticks out a little.I put the little black cap over the chip and taped in on there so it dont get trash inside my ecu.
TAKE THE ECU APART TO CLEAN IT,6 BOLTS AND YOU CAN GET TO THE BOTTOM SIDE EASILY!

I had a TS and sent it back for new tunes and ran about the same as when I got it. Get someone who knows there **** to write the tunes. I just got my F6 DP. Runs great but the shift program sucks. There up to high. 4th gear shifts at 58mph and dowshifts to 3rd at 54mph!!

Sounds like you have a nice long 4th gear lol.

I got my chip from PHP. I'm just waiting on installing my gauges before I run any of the tunes.
