Nitrous

I know im beating a dead horse here.
But after searching, id rather just ask

1: Looking at a ZEX kit, Would I spray post turbo...Into the Spyder?
2: Am I on the right track to scatter my engine on the road.
3: Im only getting it to play around on the track, and the Airstrip we have.
4: Anyone have any Info in using nitrous in their own truck.?
5: Im not looking to hit it with a 300 shot, just a 50-150 shot, Am I just stupid and setting myself up for failure?

Tony.

PS, Im used to building engines, but for marine applications. Currently putting two twin whipple charged babys into a 40' Skater, Dynoed at 1330hp, But ive NEVER messed with N2o on a diesel.

If you want to make power you have to add fuel, you only have 140cc of fuel, nitrous is basically forced induction, you'll make for power but not a substantial amount

You'd benefit from more fuel mods first IMO, but as you're sitting 50-75hp shot max. My kit said to mount in cold side pipe 6-8 in. Away from x-pipe manifold

Well, I just sent off my TS to Tony Wildman, as for fuel are you recommending I go with stage 2's? I tow heavy a lot....so I really don't want to kill the EGT's with huge squirters...I was looking at Ts's 140 setting....a good 50 shot in that setting would clear that smokey tune up...But like I said, its at Tonys shop getting reburned....I'm not worried about serious power just a Lil more than the truck next to me.

I think you'd be very happy with a stage 2 snow performance water-meth kit, I like mine a lot or even a tow max kit, I feel it would be safer and cheaper to do than nitrous. Cooler egts while towing plus a little extra kick

i agree with the Meth. nitrous isnt like ina gas motor. the components are stronger(block, rods, crank pistons). now, that doesnt mean youre gonna be able to throw a 500 blast at it and not come away with a see through block and rods that you can wear as bracelets. usuall, from what i have read on nitrous and diesels is that if you dont add enough fuel and you are "leaning" out your air/fuel mix then the engine in most cases will just shut down. you give it a min and fire it back up. because the engine is working off of compression not ignition spark. you lean out a gas motor and you can kiss it good bye.

Go Meth, just get a kit with a nice controller. Not one of those cheap switch deals. You can play around with your mixture too. A lil more H2O for towing and a lil more Meth for playing.
