stage ! injectors w/stock turbo, fuel system and transmission with valve body

how many of you have done this with success and not destroyed the stock turbo and 4r100 transmission shortly after?? i ask this because it appears ive got #8 injector gettin weak and want to just replace all and be done would just go back to new stock ones but for a few hundred dollars more get stage 1 single shots with custom tunes for little better performance and economy in mind not lookin for high performance just a lil more kick the a#$!!

My trans is still going good for the time being and I went with hybrids... no way to know unless you do it. I'm wondering what's gonna grenade first, PMR's or Trans...

yeah you never know, ad's will overdrive a stock turbo but if i was in your shoes i would definitely do the 160's, they prolly have a better warranty and will increase milage. maybe in the future you can swing for a 38r and you'll have a nice little setup

mine did ok................. untill the 4r100 took a crap lol that baby had 155,000 on her. shortly after the 175/146 stage ones the trans went into limp mode . all i had was swamps stage ones, bts valve body,tw tuning, everything else was stock. i remember foot to the floor it sounded like i was getting on it but it never went anywhere. just some minor sliping going on

160cc single shots and a pretty stock turbo will work well, the trans is hit or miss. I blew my stock trans before I installed injectors. A regulated return, and oil x over will help with life of your injectors either way. Usually when #8 goes bad its because it was starved.

i appreciate all your support i think im just going to stay with new stock injectors its nothin more than my daily driver and if i do bigger injectors then its to turn into a money pit so to prevent #8 goin bad again would the best thing to do be regulated return? also what else could i do for long term reliability? im keeping this truck till i bury it 6 feet under

Where are you located? I have stage 1s that I will be removing soon and if you are close enough will make you a deal that would make them cheaper than stock injectors and with the right tuning your truck will run great and as long as you aren't beating on the truck the trans will hold up with a good shift kit in it and PROPER tuning

A regulated return and oil x over will help evenly feed your injectors. There are a few companys that make kits or DIY.
