DB turbo wheel
I just installed a DB turbo wheel in my truck. Got in to crank it up expecting my turbo to scream, but really couldn't tell much difference from my stock on. I guess my question is, is there a different design between the wicked wheel and the db diesel wheel or was i just expecting to much? And what else can I do to make it whistle louder?

I am not familiar with a db wheel but if it is the same as a wicked wheel you probably won't notice much of anything except less surge when towing.
Not much you can do for more whistle besides the foil delete, straight pipe or change turbos. If you are looking for 6.0 whistle it's not going to happen, totally different setup. Sent from my Autoguide iPod touch app |

Yea it was a BD my bad, but yea i knew it wasn't gona sound like a 6.0, but I figured it would be a little better than that!

I noticed a little bit of change in pitch/turbo noise from my wicked wheel, the biggest difference I noticed was when the truck shifted under hard acceleration I didn't get that shutter/surge like I did with the stock wheel....

Is it alot of work to change the wheel out, or is it something that someone with a bit of experience and some tools can do in a backyard? 'cause I want to put a wicked wheel in my truck.

you could do a compressor wheel in about 10 minutes start to finish if you don't remove turbo.. which is very easy

I did wicked wheel and noticed louder whistle around 10 psi and up
