DP Tuner advice?

Im going to get a DP Tuner and was wondering what tunes are good for some better MPG??? Im thinking 60 and 80 HP will be plenty for me and how i use the truck. I have a 02 with 7.3, 4door long bed, k&N intake, just 3 1/2 straight pipe turbo back. boost/pyro on the pillar and Edge evo 2 but i only use it for the gages i know that thing will drop my tranny after a while thats why im going with the DP Tuner. Thanks

I would say the 60 would be the best on fuel but i would say if u drive it easy 60,80 or 100 would prolly get the same mileage..Im thinking about getting a 60hp tune put on mine to see if it helps my mileage too and maybe help me keep my foot out of the throttle!!

I've always heard the 80 and 100 get better mileage if you can keep your foot out of it. which always seems to be a problem

Haha you are very right!!!! The only complaint I have with my 80hp is when I'm coming to a stop from 55 or so I don't know if it's the torque locking up or just down shifting it jerks my head almost but it I put it on stock it want do that

I have the the 80hp econo tune.. I noticed a considerable difference in mileage. I dont know the exact amount with the tuner because i did a 4" exhaust at the same time. But with both together a easy 3-4mpg better with both.

I'm wanting to think mine was a daily 80 not a econo 80 maybe that's my problem or it could be 100 I have to check and see

right on so theres a daily driver and a econ thats good to know. Dang 3 or 4 mpg more would be sooooo nice,hah

I have an f6 chip and had the same problem so I called and had them adjust the tune to unlock the torque converter same as stock. 30 min. later I was lovin the 80h.p. tune.

thanks for the input everyone! Hey brnchevy1500 I like the look of your truck, i have a 4 door long bed also and i think seeing yours has convinced me that a 4 inch lift would be to small i like the look of your 6
